WHY WE LOVE THEM
Did you know that traditional sponges are made of plastic? Nope, nor did we! How many sponges do we all get through on the yard each year? And how many of those end up in landfill, unable to decompose?
Whilst we love using our Scrubbies for tack cleaning and wiping on sprays etc, we've been searching for a sponge suitable for washing off horses after exercise for a while now. We've finally found the answer!
These sponges are 100% plastic-free (they're made from plants and are totally biodegradable) and can absorb and retain up to 10 times their compressed weight in water - perfect for jobs around the yard!
These were originally designed for household use, so we have several in the kitchen and for cleaning the bathroom too! Once you're finished with them, just cut them up and pop them on the muckheap or compost to decompose.
Choose from 2 sizes:
Medium (8x12cm) - perfect for tack cleaning, eye-wiping, applying sprays etc. Comes in a pack of 2.
Large (8x15.3cm) - a great size for the bigger jobs; bathing and post-exercise washing. 1 sponge.
