How often should I use the products?

We recommend use twice a day during times when bugs are particularly active.

Are they vegan?

No, theBug Barrier Balm contains beeswax. However, we do not source our beeswax from outside of the UK (where bee welfare can be seriously compromised) Ours is sustainably sourced from a local farm Wiltshire, UK.

Are they cruelty-free?

Yes. We will not sell anything that has been tested on anything other than our own animals!

Beware as many fly repellents on the market contain either deet, saltidin, icaridin or picaridin, all of which have been tested on animals!

Will it help horses who have sensitive skin?

Absolutely yes. There are no nasties in the ingredients of any of our products. If your horse doesn't much like sprays around their sensitive areas, the balm is absolutely perfect as it can be wiped on with a sponge or brush.

How should I store the products?

Store out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place.

What is the shelf-life of the products?

Our core ingredients have a lengthy shelf life, but we do recommend using your products within 12 months.

How do I dispose of the packaging once it’s finished?

The aluminium tins and bottle are 100% recyclable.
