Mane & Tail Elixir:

1. Apply a 50p size blob to your horses mane or tail
2. Spread evenly from root to tip
3. Leave a couple of minutes to work its magic before brushing through
4. Use after every mane/tail wash and twice a week in-between times to prevent breakage
5. Can be applied wet or dry – no need to rinse

Conditioning Coat Spray:

Our bottle contains 50ml of highly concentrated active ingredients.

When it first arrives...Add 420ml of tap water (don't worry there's an indicator on the bottle to help you, no measuring required!).

Add the spray top to the bottle and securely tighten

Shake the bottle to mix the active ingredients with the water

Use daily and start seeing the results instantly!

DO NOT USE CONCENTRATE UNDILUTED

How to apply to your horse:

1. Shake it like a polaroid picture
2. Spray liberally onto horses coat
3. When you've run out, keep this bottle, pour in the 50ml refill and repeat the above!
4. Apply daily. Shake bottle before each use.

Coat Elixir

Hot oiling:
1. Add a splash (3-4 capfuls) to ¼ bucket of warm water – it should be about the temperature you’d have a human bath on a winters day.
2. After immersing your plastic-free cloth, squeeze out the excess water
3. Wipe over your entire horse, rinsing the cloth often (you’ll see the grime it’s removed in the water as you rinse the cloth!). No need to rinse.

Use regularly to maintain coat condition or add an extra bit of shine before a show.

This product can also be applied direct to the coat/mane/tail for extra shine as required, although bear in mind it is oil-based so use sparingly – particularly when it’s sunny!

Mane & Tail Elixir:

D-Panthenol: Adds lustre and shine by attaching to the keratin on the hair shaft. Detangles without adding greasiness or weight to hair.

Sugarbeet & Coconut: Detangles and intensely moisturising

Petals of the organic Damask Rose: helps to reduce dandruff and increase the scalp circulation which is the starting point for good, strong hair growth

Vegetable glycerine produced from rapeseed oil: Softens and detangles.

Vitamin E: Antioxidant. Soothing & nourishing for skin. Prevents moisture loss in the hair as well as moisturising the skin.

Preservative 12: A palm oil-free, formaldehyde-free, vegan and biodegradable preservative.

Conditioning Coat Spray:

Key ingredients include:

Panthenol – Vitamin B5 - Soothes and softens skin by locking in moisture thus preventing dehydration and dry skin and reducing Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL). It helps to maintain the elasticity of the skin, can also help tone and firm the skin. This is excellent for any skin repair situation as it also smooths roughness and dryness. Excellent to use on sensitive skin as it soothes and moisturises.

It also adds lustre and shine to the hair by attaching to the keratin on the hair shaft.

Phytokeratin PF - Repeated exposure of our horses coats to harsh weather, rugs and harsh chemicals from horse care (if you don’t use our products!), can cause dryness which can lead to roughness, scaling, dryness and breakage (rubs).

This plant-based keratin ingredient forms a layer around the hairs that minimises trans-epidermal water loss. This unique ingredient is an extract of wheat and soy protein and has also been shown to be a great anti-oxidant, protecting skin and hair cells from free-radicals.

Argan oil - This magnificent ingredient is a whizz at locking in moisture. Made up of fatty acids and vitamin E, this sustainably sourced Argan oil will add lustre, shine and smooth your horses coat.

How often should I use the products?

You can use them everyday if you want to! We recommend at least 2-3 times a week to promote healthy hair, prevent breakage and promote hair condition long-term.

Are they vegan?

Yes! There are no animal derivatives used in these products.

Are they cruelty-free?

Yes. We will not sell anything that has been tested on anything other than our own animals!

Will it prevent my horse from future mane, tail & coat rubs?

Absolutely yes. By using this product long-term, your horses hair will grow stronger and healthier. By giving silicone the big swerve, you’ll be ensuring your horses hair is not going to be brittle or prone to
breakage.

Can the products be used on horses with sensitive skin?

Yes, they are suitable for horses with sensitive skin, although please always patch test before use.

How should I store the products?

Store out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place.

What is the shelf-life of the products?

Our core ingredients have a lengthy shelf life, but we do recommend using your products within 12 months.

Can I use the products on myself?

There’s nothing to stop you! The product has not been tested for human use but we may (ahem) have used it on our own hair with great results…

How long will a bottle last?

On the average horse, using the product on mane & tail 2-3 times a week, we’d estimate the product will last around 6-8 weeks.
